What will happen at a Treatment?
For a list of Conditions which may be treated successfully using the Human Givens approach to Solution-Focused Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy see our Conditions page.
I always suggest to clients that they ask themselves if they are looking at the person who they would like to help them to sort out their problem.  If so, great.  If not, we’ll have an opportunity to say so at the outset.  Rapport between therapist and client is important, and if you just don’t ‘click’ you could be spending time and money fruitlessly.  So, there needs to be some kind of rapport or connection.
We’ll then have a discussion about the way in which you’d like to change the way you think or behave, and I will let you know if I believe I can help you.  If I can’t help, I’ll try to find a therapist who can.
We’ll talk through the problem, agree your objectives and agree a strategy to find the right way forward for you.  When it comes to hypnosis you’ll be in a comfy chair and I’ll guide you through a really great relaxing process.  You just need to sit back and enjoy it all whilst I talk with your unconscious mind. It’s an easy and comfortable process. The only known side-effect is improved sleep, and it is entirely safe.
Each session will last around an hour or so and you will leave feeling better than when you arrived.
I’ve set up a special page devoted to smoking cessation, which is what brought me to this profession, but I also have experience helping people to find solutions to phobias, depression, panic & anxiety, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), psycho-sexual issues, stress, allergies and skin conditions, pain management, performance enhancement, addictions, weight management, social anxiety, sleeping problems such as insomnia or nightmares, and anger management.
I also run group stress management sessions in Guernsey, Jersey and London.
I will treat you with kindness, respect and compassion. Of course, I guarantee absolute confidentiality and I operate within the bounds of the Code of Ethics of the General Hypnotherapy Register.
Here’s a few comments from people I’ve managed to help, but if you have any questions or concerns at all, please just call me.
